Welcome to Howard's Web Site!It had been a while since I updated this site. Unfortunately, we have encountered the worse reality that any pet owner can ever face. Our beloved big lug was diagnosed with bone cancer and we had to have him euthanized as he was in pain and suffering from a terminal disease. It was the hardest and most painful thing I have ever had to do. We miss Howard so much but he will remain in our hearts and memories forever. This website will be preserved as I don't have the heart to change or remove it but it will be moved from the homepage of this website to to a sub link in order to make room for a new website which we hope will honor Howard's legacy as the best dog that we have ever known.
On another note, we do have a new family member. We drove to Buffalo, NY once again to pick up a new Saint Bernard Puppy from our dear friends at Corner Stone Saints. It brought back a lot of memories as it was almost 5 years exactly since we had last been up that way to pick up Howard. Brody is a great dog and he's really helping us with the pain that we are still going through with losing Howard. As you can see below, he is going to be best buds with our little boy, "Mason". The first thing Mason did when he saw him was give him a big bear hug. We'll be posting more pictures and stories so check back often.
Howard was born just outside of Buffalo, New York, (www.cornerstonesaints.com) and was brought to his permanent home in Leonardtown, MD around the end of September, 2004. Since then Howard grew approximately 20 pounds a month until he turned about a year old.
